How about a little treat to brighten your day?

Gosh, I have to apologize - it's been awhile!  I do have a treat for any of you who would like to participate.  I would like to know, what is your most favorite holiday to send a card for?  I will start and say my favorite is no holiday at all, it's a 'just because' card.  I wish I could see faces of those that are surprised with a little hello in the mail.  Have you ever gotten one of these?  So I want to hear from you - what is your favorite?  To sweeten the deal, I have an extra Paper Pumpkin kit from this month, did you see it?  Oh so cute and I actually took it with me on vacation and stamped in the most beautiful location....

My In-Laws kitchen table in the Black Hills of South Dakota!  The picture does not do it justice - I never claimed to be a photographer.  LOL  We adore our visits to the Hills!  Oh, back to the FREEBIE!  Here is a better look at the kit:

I had fun with the kit and left some with my Mother-In-Law to enjoy and surprise others with a little goodie when they least expect it!

Now for you, let's hear it!  Please comment below, or on Facebook, email - just tell me!  I will draw from all the names this Saturday for your very own Paper Pumpkin kit.  Thanks for stopping by!

You can never have to much pretty paper!

So when a new catalog comes out, we sometimes have to say good-bye to some pretty Designer Series Paper but never fear, there is always another one to fall in love with!  In our new Share the Fun Idea Book, I immediately fell in love with the English Garden DSP.  One of the best features of Stampin Up! DSP is that it is double sided.  If I find I am not loving one side, I can always flip it over and there is something completely different but complimentary.  (sometimes I love both sides and feel bad when I have to cover one of them up!)

This paper has shades of Blushing Bride, Hello Honey and my new favorite Mossy Meadow.  If you are not a flower person, there are beautifully painted stripes and polka that can even work for those hard to make masculine cards.  I also added a new embellishment called Expressions Natural Elements.  I don't know about you but I LOVE wooden elements!

What do you think?  Are you loving the English Garden print?  Thank you for stopping by!

Quick! I need a Birthday Card!

How many times have we had that birthday come up and you just need a quick card?  Ok, that happens to me more than I care to admit but I have come up with a card that can be customized with color for a special someone or possibly change it up for a special occasion like an anniversary or a congrats card!

I just fell in love with this color combo and yes, I had to break out the color coach to match them up.  We all have our vices and my happens to be the color coach!  LOL

I have to share a secret with the rhinestones....did you know you can color them with a simple Sharpie marker?  Yes - you can!  For this card, I had found a mustard colored Sharpie that was perfect and have you seen all the colors of Sharpies out there?  I personally like the 80s colors.

So there you have it, quick and easy!  My next post will be featuring the beautiful English Garden Designer Series paper.  You won't want to miss it!  Until next time!
