Here comes Peter Cottontail....

Hello my friends!  Well I am busy getting ready for class this weekend and could not wait to share this idea with you!  Those coming to class will have the opportunity to make one of these:

Isn't this the cutiest bunny ever?!?!  I saw this idea on Pinterest but changed it up a bit because it needed some sparklies!  I had been eyeing this for awhile and thought what is the best way to celebrate the last month of  Saleabration than with a holiday treat?!?!  Have you seen this basket in action?  If not, check out this video on Berry Basket Bigz Big Shot Die:

I have used the basket for so many holidays...I lost count.  There is also something else special about this basket...take another look:

Bunny 2

See that candy?  Well I am not a big candy fan but these Reese eggs....they are my weakness!!!!  Not peanut butter cups - just these eggs.  (I think it is because they have WAY MORE peanut butter goodness!!)  I am thankful they are only around this time of year or I would have serious problems.  This leads me to a question....what is your favorite holiday candy?  Jelly Beans?  Chocolate bunnies?  Peeps?  Oh the sugar....LOL!!!  I want to hear them and those that share their favorites...well I am giving away a FREE Paper Pumpkin kit from February!!  Did you see this kit?  Oh it was adorable!!  I will give you till March 7th to respond then I am drawing a winner....will it be you?  Gotta go....those peanut butter eggs are calling me!!!

Have a wonderful day!

Try and contain this!

I will never get tired of receiving home crafted goodies from my stampin friends!  (Yes, I save them all and display them in my room!)  This weekend, I received the cutest lantern from my good friend Tina - just look at this!

Isn't this adorable!  It was the perfect size to put in one of my favorite chapsticks!  (Eos Lip balm)  Anyone that knows Tina knows she hand cut all the little windows on the side too!  The Curvy Keepsake box has been around for awhile and she has constructed some great ones!  here are a few:

That cat just makes me smile each time I see it!  If you are not familiar with the Curvy Keepsake Box (#135853), here is a short video showing you the components and how it goes together which is REALLY easy!

Would you like to see what made me fall in love with this versatile box?  Well here is the first project I ever made with it:

These turkeys were so easy to make - I don't think I will ever get tired of new ways to use this box!  So how about you?  What kind of boxes would you like to see?  Do you have any special occasions coming up that you would like to do a little creating for?  I will be sharing an easy Easter gift idea this weekend so stay tuned!  Thanks for stopping by and if you see Tina - let her know you saw some of her handy work!  Have a wonderful day!

I love, I love, I love my calendar girl....

Hello stampin friends!  I am finally coming down after celebrating my beloved Broncos winning the Super Bowl!  I have been a fan since I was a little girl so it was pretty exciting for me!  Now on to the important stuff....what has Deseree been up to?  Well I have been in my room all afternoon cleaning and organizing.  I don't know about you but I LOVE going thru my supplies and making sure I know where they are and what I have.  (I found stuff still in the packaging!!)  LOL

I did want to share a project I am so excited about!  In December, we got a Paper Pumpkin kit that I absolutely loved but I am kind of a techie girl and not sure if I wanted a physical calendar so I thought....what can I turn these into?  Ha....BIRTHDAY CARDS!!!   They happen every day, every month and year after year so it is not like I don't need them.

Here is what I came up with:

All calendar

Didn't they turn out cute?!?!  I love that I can customize each one to the person receiving the card - how cool is that?  I used the supplies that came with the kit but needed to add the coordinating cardstock, glitter paper (because who doesn't love glitter?!?) and a few other stamps over the month.  Here they are close up:

I love that I was able to make 12 cards, (sorry, I had to put one in the mail already) from one Paper Pumpkin kit!  When I was done making these I got to thinking...I should have been saving those little calendars you get free - I could have made some more!!

Are you a Paper Pumpkin subscriber?  If you are not, you should be!!  It is so fun getting a box with EVERYTHING I need to create something from start to finish!  (yes, it comes with EVERYTHING!!)  The kit is $19.95 and always includes a stamp set, at least 1 small ink spot and all the supplies cut and prepared just for you!  The only thing needed is you and some time to make something with your own two hands!  Here is a video of the kit that is coming to those signed up for February:

Right now, we have a special on this fun subscription.  When you prepay for 3 months, you will receive you very own Saleabration item for FREE!!!  And better yet - it is only $55 + tax!!!  That is savings off the normal $19.95/monthly subscription AND you get something for FREE!!!  I would say that is a win/win for all!  If you have any questions, please let me know.

Thanks for stopping by today and happy stampin!!

10 years went by really fast!

Hello my stampin friends!  I have some new ideas to share as well as some exciting news for you all!  First, I wanted to share an exciting landmark for me...I am celebrating my 10 year anniversary with Stampin Up! this month!  Yes, 10 years and it seems like yesterday that I took the plunge just to get that discount.  :) And here is the exciting news for you - I want to reward those that make it so easy to share what I love!  All orders placed outside of class, the month of February, will receive 10% of their order total (before shipping/tax) back in a rebate coupon to be used on a future order!  I do ask if you are placing your order on line, use hostess code 6FGPK2AQ so I can track the orders easily.  All orders over $50 will already receive your choice of a FREE Saleabration item but you will also receive 3 handmade cards from yours truly - how exciting is that?!?!?  Let me know if you have any questions on this - happy shopping!

And what better way to celebrate but with some new and easy card ideas for your creating pleasure!  The following card has to be one of my favorites that I have designed lately because of the simplicity and elegance.

  Wood elements
I LOVE the wood Expression Natural Elements!  These are from our annual catalog and I never get bored with using them!  For this card, I used a baby wipe and tapped my Tip Top Taupe ink pad(say that fast 3 times) then swiped it right on to the wood element.  The background is made with the highly versatile set Timeless Textures (140514 $28.00 US)  Can you believe one stamp  set is all you need?!?!  This card was popular at class this weekend...

I also have a card that was so easy but oh so cute!  This card was made with the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper(141022) that you can earn for FREE with a $50 purchase of your 'gotta have' Stampin Up supplies!  The 'Hello' card is also featuring the stamp set Hello (141240) that you could also pick for free but hurry, this set is only available till February 15th.  I think it turned out pretty cute!
