Say it isn't so but let's go out with a Bang!
And I am back home from #onstage2016 and LOVING my new catalog!

The evolution of my Swap...

Hello stampin friends!  I am busy getting ready for our On Stage event in sunny Salt Lake City!  We are leaving tomorrow and I am so excited!  One of my favorite activities while attending Stampin Up! events is to swap.  What is a swap you say?  Well this is where I come up with a favorite project ideas, then I mass produce them and bring them to swap with  2,000+ of my closest stampin friends!  This is great because the ideas blow my mind every year!

So I am working on a Birthday card idea and had fun playing with the It's My Party Designer Series Paper stack featured in the Handmade from the Heart Occasions Catalog.  Here are some variations I came up with:

So this kind of project is EXACTLY why I fell in love with Stampin Up!  When I find fun paper to work with, SU tells me every color that makes up this paper.  When I need to find cardstock or matching ribbon...I know exactly where to get it, what color it is and know that my project will look beautifully coordinated each and every time.  Have you ever found that prefect, pretty paper in a chain store, and when you get it home, you can't make it work in your project because nothing matches?  That is how I started crafting and it drove me nuts!  Especially the color Red....oh red you are so beautiful but oh so hard to match.....

This paper pack features Basic Black, Crushed Curry, Melon Mambo, Mint Macaroon and Sahara Sand.  Here is a look of all of them together:

I don't want to share which one made the cut but I am so happy with each one and I think they all have their own personality!  Fun right?  Thanks for stopping by and check back later this week to see all that I learn in Salt Lake and see which swaps I took with me!

Have a great rest of your day!
