Do you know what Oct 1st is?

Hello my stampin friends! First and foremost I want to thank all of you who attended classes this weekend! We have not had groups that big in awhile and appreciate everyone's patience while waiting for supplies. We had some Halloween, Fall foliage, Christmas and even a gift idea or two!
Today I want to share one of the projects we made that you can use for October 1st. What is October 1st? Well it is National Cardmaking Day of course! This is a day we can celebrate with a craft that we all love! I encourage you to make a card or two this week and surprise a friend or family member with some of your handy work! My favorite cards to receive are the ones that are unexpected!
This set has been on my shelf for awhile now, and I believe it was just waiting for me to make something special. What do you think? This one has texture that was applied with the Big Shot and the image was colored with our very versatile Stampin Write Markers. My tip to you when coloring with markers or watercolor pens. ALWAYS stamp your image with StazOn Ink. This is permanent ink that is perfect for water coloring and stamping on nonporous surfaces such as window sheets or Shrinky Dink paper!
Now my ask of you, take part in National Cardmaking Day and at the very least, make one card or send one of your cards buried in your stash! The smile our works of art have so much to offer, you will be happy you did. :) My gift to you? Stampin Up! will have some amazing specials just for you but only available from October 1 - 5 so be on the look out for these items! If you send a card or two or three this weekend, please let me know and I will be giving away a special treat in a drawing for those that participate! Maybe a stamp set? You will have to play and find out! Until next time, I hope your day brings you joy and contentment in all that you do!
Happy Stampin!
