10 years went by really fast!

Hello my stampin friends!  I have some new ideas to share as well as some exciting news for you all!  First, I wanted to share an exciting landmark for me...I am celebrating my 10 year anniversary with Stampin Up! this month!  Yes, 10 years and it seems like yesterday that I took the plunge just to get that discount.  :) And here is the exciting news for you - I want to reward those that make it so easy to share what I love!  All orders placed outside of class, the month of February, will receive 10% of their order total (before shipping/tax) back in a rebate coupon to be used on a future order!  I do ask if you are placing your order on line, use hostess code 6FGPK2AQ so I can track the orders easily.  All orders over $50 will already receive your choice of a FREE Saleabration item but you will also receive 3 handmade cards from yours truly - how exciting is that?!?!?  Let me know if you have any questions on this - happy shopping!

And what better way to celebrate but with some new and easy card ideas for your creating pleasure!  The following card has to be one of my favorites that I have designed lately because of the simplicity and elegance.

  Wood elements
I LOVE the wood Expression Natural Elements!  These are from our annual catalog and I never get bored with using them!  For this card, I used a baby wipe and tapped my Tip Top Taupe ink pad(say that fast 3 times) then swiped it right on to the wood element.  The background is made with the highly versatile set Timeless Textures (140514 $28.00 US)  Can you believe one stamp  set is all you need?!?!  This card was popular at class this weekend...

I also have a card that was so easy but oh so cute!  This card was made with the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper(141022) that you can earn for FREE with a $50 purchase of your 'gotta have' Stampin Up supplies!  The 'Hello' card is also featuring the stamp set Hello (141240) that you could also pick for free but hurry, this set is only available till February 15th.  I think it turned out pretty cute!

I hope you feel inspired to create something special today.  I may be in room later but those who know me, know I will be watching my beloved Broncos in the Super Bowl today.  I thought I would share just how I am feeling:

We can celebrate with a touch of Spring!

I want to take a few minutes and share one of my favorite new product bundles featured in the Handmade from the Heart Occasions catalog.  I bought this bundle strictly for the stamp set because the verses....oh the verses!!!  Just look at this set!

Rose set

Isn't it beautiful?!?!?  I had fun creating this simple card with the framelits, a little bit of ink and the new shimmer paper:

Your in My Thoughts

I know sending Sympathy cards can not be too much fun but I am a firm believer that they should be just as pretty as a birthday or anniversary card.  Here is a great video that showcases this amazing bundle that is a must for all stampers! (And Carrie is one of my FAVORITE Stampin Up! trainers!)

I hope you enjoyed taking a closer look at this bundle and if you would like to give this a try, this card will be featured at class next weekend - hope to see you there!

It's never too early to say I love you!

It is never too earlier to get your Valentine's made for your loved ones!  We got a jump start this weekend at class so I thought I would share a few ideas with you!

Beautiful Blessing

This one is using the new Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack.  This has 48 sheets of beautiful hearts and florals which is perfect for those you love!  I also added one of my new favorite embellishments - Botanical Garden Jewels!  I am all about adding some texture so the Happy Hearts embossing folder was the perfect  finishing touch!

This card is AWESOME for using up your scraps!!!  When I was preparing this card, the obvious choice was to add a Valentine greeting but I also love that it can be a "thinking of you" card too!  I have been using our Corrugated Paper like mad - again...TEXTURE adds so much!  (and glitter is always good too!)

I would love to hear from you - is Valentines Day a holiday you typically send cards for?  I think this year, I may just surprise some friends with a card on a holiday that is not just for lovebirds but a chance to tell someone special, how much you love them.  Have a great day!!

So what was in that box?

I have been busy making room for my new stampin goodies!!  So we can't show the pages of the upcoming Occasions catty and Saleabration offering but I CAN show you what I pre-ordered!  (and we all sing "Joy to the World!")  It's hard to pick a favorite so let's just start with this Designer Series Paper:

Anyone remember the fun we had with shaving cream and re-inkers?  Ok, so it was fun but how about paper that looks like what we created, but without the mess?  This picture does not do it justice and can't wait to play with this one!

Now the following paper is outside my comfort zone but my Mother always says, "just give it a chance" so that I did.  This paper has matching framelits that I will be showing later this week - words cannot describe the beauty:

Now how about some stamp sets??!  Some are some Saleabration offerings that you can earn for FREE starting January 5th - how exciting is that?  Have you heard of Saleabration?  This is when I signed up 10 years ago - yes, TEN YEARS for Mrs. Krumm!  Every year Stampin Up! celebrates with Saleabration which typically happens January thru March.  During this time, for every $50 you spend, you get to pick a FREE item in the Saleabration offering book.  (Yes, I did say free!)  There is no limit to how many you can earn which is pretty cool.  What caught my attention 10 years ago was the special you could get for signing up to be a demonstrator. (and to get the discount!  :))  This year, you will get to choose $155 worth of product for only $99!!  Yes, you are reading that correctly!  You can pick anything from the current SU publications too! (large idea book, upcoming Occasions catalog and the clearance rack too!)  Did I catch your attention?  :)  Ok, back to the stamp sets:

What do you think?  Any new favorites?  I had to add some cute embellishments with the bow paperclips, flower rhinestones and did you see the bakers twine!?!?  Talk about something different and so spot on to the trends in crafting right now!  I do have more to show you but I have to get back to some holiday goodie making.  Would love to hear what your favorite is - you never know when I will pick a winner of some new goodies!  Did you want own copy of the Occassions and Saleabration books?  All you have to do is ask!  Until next time!

Festive indeed - a treat for me!

Do you ever have one of those days where you think, "Ya, I am worth it and I want something for me!". If you ask my husband, he would probably say that is an every day occurrence with me.  LOL  Well last week, when SU released the weekly deals, one item caught my eye and at the discounted price, well I needed it so I treated myself.  The Festive Flower Builder Punch at first glance may look intimidating but oh so gorgeous!  Look at what you can do with this punch!

This punch is so much more than Christmas and I fully intend on using this down the road for a spring time version of my own.  But, this is the Christmas season and we really should give it justice.  This punch does come in a special bunch for your holiday card making needs which is featured below:

So what do you think?  Gorgeous?  Gotta have it?  So my question for you - what would you treat yourself to from the current Stampin Up! offerings?  A Big Shot?  Favorite stamp set?  I want to hear it!  Anyone who responds to this post, or via email, will be entered in a drawing for your very own November Paper Pumpkin!  Did you see this kit?  Here is what you can win:

How easy is that?  I will give you till Wednesday before Turkey Day to tell me what your treat is, no matter the cost, big or small, can't wait to hear from you!
